The super-thick, closed-cell EVA foam back pad is engineered to maximize both comfort and leverage, so that when the belt is positioned relatively low across the thighs while fighting a fish, the belt distributes the load evenly for maximum pull when fighting big fish stand-up style.

The AFTCO Arena fighting rod belt is perfect for 12-lb to 30-lb tackle use while fighting smaller fish, including; smaller billfish, tuna, king mackerel and other sub-100lb gamefish on relatively light tackle. ¬†The high-grade, thick aluminum plate is richly-anodized in gold. The black-anodized, CNC-machined aluminum gimbal cup that can hold a light rod, comes with a stainless cross-pin that swivels up and down to securely hold gimbaled rod butts and eliminate rod torque.
